Welcome to Dene House
Dene House is a striking 4 star Gold AA rated guest house on the edge of Bowness village in the Lake District. A seamless blend of both modern and traditional, we retain the original character of the building, which has served as a bed and breakfast for over 12 years, whilst offering all the modern conveniences of today.
Our wonderful location offers guests easy access to the village which is bursting with many pubs, shops & restaurants and Lake Windermere itself is just a three minute walk from our front door. We have recently achieved a certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor which is testament to the amount of guests we have returning year on year or recommending us to their family and friends.
So proud of our reputation, we strive to ensure the comfort of our guests and take great pride in the quality of our service, excellence of our breakfasts and superiority of our accommodation. We also have private, onsite parking for guest use.

I was made to feel exceptionally welcome from the outset, and was very well looked after throughout my stay. A big thank you to Jenny, Ian and their staff. Of my many trips to this area over the years I've yet to find a better B&B.
